I was just looking around the projects section, clicking here, clicking there, clicking clicking everywhere. So what's up with the Dapple Shade? Once Himiko posted something about new scans and the project being up again. I was glad, because I kind of liked the girl, the boy, and the scary giand with "gentle" voice. I remember being on IRC the day you decided to drop the project due to the lack of interest from the staff. "It's a nice, warm manga" I thought. Why drop it? Anyways. Since it's back again I'm really happy, and as long as you make some progress it is the source of my joy.
Oh. And Kyo Kara Ore Wa was dropped? When? How? I remember Izumi posting one page with an american guy yelling "My fu**ing golden arm!". Mwahaha. Anyways. In the end of the August I should have my internet connection up and running aswell as my page. And then I might just concider scanning some "Detective Hedgehog". I don't have the manga in front of me so I can't quote the original title, but I'm guessing it's different than the original. The original was some kind of a word-joke, which had something to do with japanese word for hedgehog and some other word, which is very similar. No matter. They published 9 volumes here. It's not all of it but it's quite alot. It's a great manga. I bought all 9 volumes at once and I was finished with them in 2 days time. It just sucks you in. |

Yes, that would be the one. They didn't publish it in english yet, did they? Aside from this one, they published Hello Michael by Makoto Kobayashi [8 Volumes], Locke by Yuki Hijiri [About 11 volumes I think. No matter. I have them all.] Kindaichi Shonen No Jikenbo [3 volumes so far I think, while the first volume was a compilation of two original ones I would guess from its size.] by Sato Fumiya and Kanari Yozaburo, and Mars by Soryo Fuyumi. [Few vols. 2? 3? Didn't buy it yet.] I might do some of those as soon as I get the net fixed up, cause it's just so cool to translate manga. But seriously. I just think that I owe every group that translates manga which I was reading, so that would be a cool way to do something for others instead of just leeching. Well well well... Aren't I just the best. |

Why you little...! *throws a small rock at running ami-chan* So you've just been lazy! And I thought that maybe it's the translations, or maybe the scans, or flu epidemic or something... And to think that I was gonna scan some manga for you to enjoy! [Nah.. I'm still gonna do it] But wouldn't it be better to just finish the Dapple Shade? It's just 3 volumes and you're more than half way through. *yells at ami chan* So! Get on with it! *waving my stick up in the air* |
