oh man i MSblasted marvin in the face...

i swear to buddah, this confounded msblast worm will be the end of me. my system doesn't APPEAR to be infected, but every 30-1:30, my internet goes out for anywhere between 2 and 7 hours. it's just not right. i mean, if you want to make a statement about how microsoft has holes in their code, don't make it on the backs of poor innocents who just want to simulate shooting people over the net. so what i'm saying is, has anyone else been hit by this befuddler of a worm?

not me, but my friend got hit by one yesterday. everytime he gets on the net, his pc reboots. He says anti-viruses dont help. another friend said it was something like "lovsend"... meh.

for me, I've been safe for quite a while.. about 1 year ago, I got a virus or something that screwed my HDD. my father and me tried to see what was wrong, but we didnt find anything, and rechecked and rechecked everything, until we broke the mother board (.....)
lucky for me, garanty wasnt overdue yet, so we had it repaired, but they didnt have the necessary pieces in time for policy, so we got off one month later with a brand new computer , twice as powerful as the old one was ^^

a thing my friend was concidering, was to format his drives. maybe you should too, if you dont find any solution. try not to make any backup cds, most of them will be infected.

Basic info on this virus (Lovsan/MSBlast):
It goes through a Windows security hole. Gets on your computer, reboots it every now and then. It also sends itself to random IP addresses on your segment so if any computer is on the same segment as you it'll try to infect them.

i ended up calling up my ISP, since all tests ran negative for MSblast. as it turns out, i just had to unplug and replug my router. that solved the problem straight up. and i felt like an idiot. but then i downloaded and watched the newest episode of dokkoider, so all is well.

I don't know about MSblast.. but my other computer's all fucked up.

At first, blue screens kept popping up saying some shit like
KMODE_EXCEPTION_NOT_HANDLED 000123Xhfjlkadhohadflihao

and then.. every time I boot up the computer and Windows is about to start up.. it reboots itself...

Anybody know what's up?

well... he would... but he cant really get on the net. if it were me, I'd go on another pc, download it, then try to transfer it to his pc and install it, but he's just too lazy to do that.. he's just gonna try to reformat his pc. he says that he it's been a while, so he should reformat anyway...
