am i missing sthg about Monster ?

On stephen's posts, i always see that "flying robot" announcing stephen is working on Monster vol.16
but actually on irc, or it's hidden, we can find them until the 9th volume (ch.71).
is it because they havn't been edited ? even on mangascreener.com we can't find any info about it.
I just loved this serie as much as 20thCB (ok, a bit less) and would like to know where are my favourite chapters...

I've been translating Monster continually since November 2001, several months before I joined Mangascreener. In fact, it was Monster that originally brought me here. Unfortunately, the Monster project has been really sidelined by the long hiatus by our coordinator, and nobody else has been eager to step up and take the challenge, which is why the gap between where I am translating and what has been released is so large. By the way, I will be finished with Monster by the end of November.

I absolutely LOVE monster, and i'm almost ready to ask Gatsu to step in and have him take it over as a Joint, because i'm tired of waiting for our staff to get its act together. Plenty of people have volunteered to scan, but we just don't seem to have any urgency or excitement about getting Monster done, so maybe its time to ask other groups if they want to help out with the editing or scanning.
Its just too good to let sit in the closet.

I have a better plan, let's get Kefky (plans sabotage ^_^) but I thought Ret is still around?? I haven't seen Ret, and I'm worried about the whole hiatus thing...

Um, from what i've heard (since i coordinate Beck kinda) is that Ret's computer is broken, so he won't be around for the forseeable future. (someone correct me if i'm wrong.) So i think we need a plan B.

I offered to scan Monster a while back, but was told that MS didn't need a scanner for it.

Stick with us here, silver. There's a lot of miscommunication happening between staff members and other unfortunate mishaps, but we're trying to get things straightened out, seriously. Kefky is going to take on coordinating duties and there will probably/likely be an opportunity for you to help with scanning somewhere. Since Retrooo is out of commission and we don't know what (if any) arrangements he had with other scanners, we will probably have to find all new people to scan. So please stick with us, I'm pretty sure we can use your help.
