Okay so i should have read this manga when it came out on MS a lonnng time ago. I think this is one of the best manga i have read, I love music and i love manga so it all works out, its amusing to see the renditions of different music covers that Sakuishi has drawn. But the reason i joined this forum was probably just to make this post...but ill probably post more 
anyways getting to the point...i read this a while back from "concering beck":

also to the admin here, im thinking of buying vols 14 - 17 online, and if i can help in anyway, like editing, or anything to make it faster [except perhaps buying all of the manga and scanning it {im poor sorry ^^;;} ] then I'd gladly do it.

Volumes are bought, scanning is in progress, editing will take place shortly... but with all the hype right now i'm wondering if i should hold out on releasing ~_~
As for offering your help by editing and such, thats a great idea, i suggest you go talk to Kashi in the channel, you won't end up editing Beck (cause its our flagship manga and lots of our staff want to edit it) but i'm sure we can find something for you to do. |

Yes, I've been wandering why does Beck have never been released
again by Mangascreener?
Izumi said Beck is one of Mangascreener's flagship, so where's Beck
nowadays??
Well, I know it took a lots of hardwork to make HQ of each Beck's
releases. So I won't mind waiting for a little bit longer, but I surely
hope that there will be Beck flood just like 20CB or Monster
That would be a great reward after the long waiting... |

*coughs* You DO know that the date of the next release get pushed back another week every time someone asks that question, don't you? We're looking at Christmas 2006 as it is already, so please don't make things any worse. |

Beck is very difficult to translate because it's written in a specific dialect that only 5 people in Japan know -- stephen is the only one who can actually do the translations. Also there's a copy protection on the manga that has to be broken (for each page!) before the edits can be done.
And zzled, I heard September 200*7*, but maybe you know more than me?

Oh man, I just finished reading the 14th volume of Beck and it felt so good to read some new pages, I have been constantly reading and re-reading all the story since I discovered this manga 1 year ago. And 3 chapters at one time with Beck in N-Y and Matt paying an amazing visit... Thank you so much for the work guys, I registered on this message board just to be able to say that. Great, definitely the best manga ever according to me ! |

Once again great job with Beck, I can't wait for this fine piece of art to be released in french, which is coming soon. Ohh, holding a real Beck volume in real paper in my hands... Makes me shiver  |

well, I just wanted to thank you too, because, thanks to you, I could discover such a great manga as Beck ... and I'm really looking forward to its release in france now!!! (But you know, they might not put the color pages and turn them into black and white ones . Well anyway, better that than no beck I guess.)
You guys are really great, I'm sure that it takes a lot of time to do all those scanlations... so thank you again! |
