My Top Ten List (that continues to change often enough)
1. Touch (Tomeya's article on it was really great)
2. Maison Ikkoku (It's not fantasy, it doesn't go on until 30+ volumes or so... the romance takes a long time to get materialized and it's the most realistic story Takahashi has ever done)
3. Video Girl Ai
4. One Piece
5. Beck
6. River's Edge
7. Banana Fish
8. I'll
9. Rough/Hiatari Ryoukou/Katsu
10. KareKano
-Most recently I've been reading Yakitate Japan! Which I think is really entertaining. A manga about bread? Who would have thunk it? It's like that one obscure manga about Go.
I've been reading everyone's top ten list and thanks to some of you I've discovered other manga that I would never have thought about reading, like your discussion about Kyoko Okazaki. Too bad a lot of her stuff aren't scanslated or translated except for River's Edge. I would love to read more. |

Isn't it funny that when you were writing it none of those mangas were translated into english, and now half of it are? :] Do you have plans in translating other half? Would be cool :] |

I can see myself doing Aoi Kuruma in the future. As for the others, we'll see. I probably won't do Henshuu-Oh though. Way too long for me. |

That's scary. That means Summer Soldier is one of the most influential person in Online manga-scanslation world as of right now.
..Or not. |

I think the fact that I translated 4 out of 5 of those titles speaks for itself.
As for Gekkou No Sasayaki, whether I translate it or not depends entirely on whether someone can link me to a site that has a J/E glossary of kendo terms. Oh, and whether I feel like doing it or not. |

You'll be delighted to learn that I translated the first chapter of Kaiji about a year ago. You'll be even more delighted to learn that I have no intention of translating any further chapters of that manga. |

I wouldn't mind translating just the really early part where Tonegawa makes that awesome speech ("Fuck you, I'll kill you, you worthless scum...") |
