you know, we don't have to release any at all for all intensive purposes... so stop yapping!
as for progress, its progressing as normal, people like the project and so do we, it actually gets a lot more attention than other projects we have.
are we going to go faster, prolly not.
why not?
no rush, i don't even think it came out in japan that fast when it was still going, so stop being a munchkin! |

There's no such thing as rush with scanlating, Izumi... except when Dual Translation RISES FROM THE FUCK1NG DEAD to steal your project. |

As I understand it Gestalt took ~1 year to even get started, so I'd count myself lucky Happy is even moving at all
Besides, if you start reading an Urasawa without first accepting you'll be stuck with cliffhangeritis until the next release, that's your own fault anyway |

if it was an attempt to troll, well whatever, i don't give anyone that much attention... we'll just keep on doing what we're doing irregardless of what others do or say...
and gestalt took nearly over 2 years to get started -_- and it looks like its going no-where until i get a better editor for chapter 2 |

Your translator is starting to lap you. LOL
J/K I love the effort you guys are making. It's a great series.
Is the summer time a productive time for your projects because school's out, or is it a slower time because you're working your butts off to raise tuition? |

does anybody else get the sense that urasawa really hates the characters in this manga?
i sure hate them, and the more i read, the less i can even imagine anyone actually liking them... i just assume that this is intentional and that urasawa took a very cynical turn with this one.
other than really loathesome characters i've really enjoyed reading it. most of the fun here so far seems to be built around the tension between the hero's 'real' identity [the one the reader sees] and the one the world in the comic sees. interesting but i prefer 20th century boys. i dled monster but havent read yet. looking forward to it, and to more happy. keep up the great job guys. |

Are we talking about Happy!?
I like the main character and Choko. lol Love to hate Choko, I guess. I believe that Urusawa has made most of the characters despicable because he is setting up the story for our heroine's victory.
(Of course, 6 volumes of abuse is a rather long setup. Can anyone familiar with the series let us know if there's a bright spot in Miyuki's day anytime soon?) |
