something to think about. Are those of you who are angry, angry just because the actions by MD prevented them from getting their MS manga fix, or are they actually angry because of the actions themselves (or maybe a combination of the two)?

Now, the question is... does Ichitaka have the sense of a 6-year old? And this is already under the assumption that English isn't his first language.

Um... so they use the translations without permission (and even when it's stated that use of the translations for fanscans is not permitted), and Ichitaka is angry because MS is blaming the group responsible?

The nonsense part is how MS states that the group is using the translations inappropriately...? And what exactly is the truth...? I think releasing the scans using Stephen's translations is pretty much the reality of the situation.

And... Mangascreener should apologize for... um... stating the facts and our opinion of them? o_O;

Someone please get the boy an English tutor.

yea...i just dont like how they only keep a certain amout of manga on at once -_- that's jsut annoying, really annoying...hmmm...did Stephen apologize yet about it?

Yep, your page is referred to and suggested often on the 'wjumpmanga' group. They do have fairly up to date translations always uploaded to the list but for any of the older chapters people always mention you first. From my personal experience, I've used your translations from Beck (thanks to snicker sending me the scans on occasion) and they're very easy to follow. Smile

Lol yeah I get the idea he is either a FOB or lives overseas and speaks choppy English so I wont bash him for that, but he is definitely lacking in the common sense category. I am not a big fan of most of their series but I do absolutely love Katsu. Adachi rulez.

Essentially, you steal the scripts... that's annoying enough. But then to go and credit ANYBODY else... is just incredibly distasteful. Using stephan's translation was a mistake on the part of Null, however there's no reason to outright insult me.

The problem arose from a translator who had zipped one of stephan's One Piece scripts with our own raws before promptly going inactive. We had no reason to suspect that the translations were not his, which is why we ended up using them in our scanlation.

It was a mistake on our part (one which has never happened since), for which we are very sorry, but to call it theft and besmirch my name and Null's because of it, is outrageous.
I believe Null to be one of the best scanlation teams in terms of morals and esprit de corps, and if you ask any current or former Null staff member, I'm sure you'll hear the same.

And as to my service to fandom, I'm not sure who you are, but I'm sure I've contributed much more to manga fandom online than you ever have.

It's been a while, but I just wanted to clear this issue up.
