King of Thorns

Hey all, just wondering if there were any King of Thorns fans out there. I stumbled across this manga by chance and have really grown to like it. The art and story are rather unusual, and the characters of Marco and Kasumi have really grown on me. Anyone else feel the same way?

Like you, I stumbled upon King of thorns by chance and got hooked up ever since. I really hope mangascreeners will pick it up again soon (last update was in may I think?) because right now things are about to get even more interesting!

We have a few more chapters coming I think. But not many. Let's just say the grapevine is turning up rumors.

By the way, the manga ends this month.

Well I wouldnt' be surprised if this gets licensed as well, what with the mangaka's other series being licensed by who was it, CMX?

I would love it if this were licensed.

What kind of rumors? Licensing? I'll admit, that I'm not a big buyer of manga; if a scanslation is licensed, I just stop reading and leave it like that. But if this series gets licensed, I'm definitely going to buy it. It's short enough, so it won't break the bank, yet it is captivating every step of the way.

How many volumes are there? 4 or 5?

Yeah, it can't be 4 or 5 because there are already 5 volumes out and the series isn't over yet.

King of Thorns rocks my socks. What's the hold-up with the scanslations? If it's lack of scans, my brother has a couple of volumes we might be able to scan and give to you guys here at MangaScreener. (Provided, of course, that we unlock the secret of scanning thick manga books -_-)

Eh? Eh... that makes me sad. Well, KOT scanslations will live on in my heart! I hope Tokyopop licenses it, 'cause they don't seem to edit stuff (unlike Viz...) and I hope my library buys it! >< *poor moocher*
