Ahaha...
Summer: Fine, fine, I'm sorry. The sex scene is necessary for character development and blah blah. I just like sex scenes. Is that so wrong? |

I just got aroudn to reading chap1 today, and I'm liking it so far. I liek the art, and the story seems like it's going to be quite interesting. And as far as the sex scene goes, I don't know how you could possibly take that out and still have the same effect. I won't go into all the details, but lets just say it's important in it's bluntness. |

Only two chapters so far, and I'm having great expectations; I think I will enjoy this manga much. Thanks for scantlating it!
Yea,as for the sex scenes, if they are meant as some kind of fan service, they are doing zit nothing for me! they aren't hardcore enough!! hehehehehe... but yea, nyways, I think the sex scenes here are important clues in describing the tall dude's psychological state/feeling toward his dad; the fact that he is doing it with daddy's "girlfriend". Gotta say they are very necessary. And I wouldn't censor either... agreeing to manadren: "it's very important in it's bluntness" |

Damn I loved chapter 2. It was beautiful... and makes me want to read more... I never though I'd be the one to say this, "Hurry up with the release!" |

It's weird how this manga has some very typical shounen elements, but there's no way it would be marketed to that age group.
I'm not sure yet if I enjoy it or not. I'll certainly follow the releases, however, until I can determine more certainly my actual opinion on the matter. |

I love this series. The title didn't seem too appealing (or the summary either) but it's good because you know that the characters are going to succeed sometime. =) err, kind of like watching Hikaru no Go or Ippo. It's a manga I anticipate more than the other new series (mokke, king of thorns). Please hurry up with the release! *runs and hides from scanlators* |

Just read 2 volumes, and wow, the art is amazing.
Somehow, this manga reminds me of Beck. When the manga tries to convey the 'feel'of the imaginary manga, it's like Beck where we 'read' the music scenes. |

I actually mistook it for another series, but I'm glad I downloaded it. After the first few pages I was close to deleting it but damn if it didn't get me hooked after the first chapter. I've read both volumes now and it's gotten really intense. I'm looking forward to the conclusion. Good work MS! This one is a keeper!

BTW, sorry if this has been posted before, but what does "G Senjou" mean anyway? I used to assume it was just part of the title for this manga, but i've now seen it used in other manga titles. |

"G" is an abbreviation of G-pen (the most common pen-tip used to draw manga along with the round-tipped pen).
"Senjou" is "battlefield."
Also "G Senjou" is a play on "G Senjou no Aria" (Air on G-String) by JS Bach, a famous composition that can be played entirely on just the "G" string of the violin.
I'll leave it to you to figure out the thematic meanings behind the name. (From what I vaguely recall I think it's sort of explained in the story anyway) |

I'm not one to whine but will you scanslate the last volume of G Senjou Heaven Door ? This manga is one of my favorite since I read the two volumes here when you finished them (quite a time ago now) so I was wondering if this was definitely a dead project ? (Even if you tell me you'll scanslate it when you feel like it I would be very happy having this hope)

| This depends almost entirely on Summer Soldier resuming work. |
Can you specify, please?
I would like to know what is the status of this project, I know it says active on the site and i'm aware of the usual "Ask about the next release and Die" mentality scanlation groups tend to have, but almost half a year has passed since the last release so I might be excused. I only want to know if there is a point to me hoping for the continuation.
Thank you.
Also, i'm willing to give a hand in anything which is within my reach, which more or less sums up in me quality checking... yeha, well I never claimed to be useful ^_^. |
