Come on people. Sure the names may be weird, what do you expect from a Japanese? And sure Denmark is flat, I know cause I'm Danish. I'm just happy I didn't see any mountain ranges. I few rocks and hills I can cope with. Who knows, maybe you could find a few places that looks like that in southern Jutland. A noble Norwegian slave girl... Why not? It doesn't seem totally unlikely. It's historically correct enough for me, especially when I think about the fact that at Japanese is behind the story. I've seen worse portrayals of the Vikings. Some hills and a few weird names doesn't kill this one for me. |

I had no idea Makoto Yukimura could draw such freakishly cute little kids. They're so....chibi yet not chibi. |

Chapter 7 was pretty good yet again (tho I do miss the longer chapters of volume 1), loved the expressions of Thors & Thorfinn. |

I think you guy need some explanation here.
Nazi Symbol "Sawaddika" is create in asia about 1000 year ago.
"Sawaddika" is Sansakrit word for good fortune and it has been using in Budishm for a long long time before Nazi take it to be there symbol.
Nazi is crazy about artifact so they think this symbol will bring them good fortune. We use this symbol on some Buddha statue (mostly in china and japan). And that why we use "Sawaddika" mark temples on maps.
P.S. Sorry for my bad english. |

don't you just hate these "is it dropped" questions? >_>
Kefi hasnt released a fairy tail chapter for 2 weeks and everyone assumes its dropped too
since Vinland Saga c11 was in the last release
no offence, but its just a very stupid question... you can ask if everything was dropped by that logic |

Second in my batch to read today was the rest of Vinland Saga volume 2. (Well, first real batch, Cruel Tales 2 was just for warming up)
I have to say the wait worked in favor of this manga; reading those short Shonen Magazine chapters once in a while really wasnt doing it for me. So in a way I'm glad there was a long break, and batch release.
Awesome stuff. Cannot wait for volume 3; as it should it be.
This'll get licensed in a heartbeat, I just cant see it not happening... |

I love Vinland Saga. It is one my my fav manga ever. (Thanks so much for doing this)
The first 4 chapters were amazing beyond belief, i felt each chapter was epic each one. i just read them again and again for hours (no kidding).
lol how i read the shorter chapters... i read them as 2 at a time... so it still seems long like the first chapters lol
though i cant imagine chapters 1-2 being done anew... theyre perfect |
