And rightfully so!
Lately I've been enjoying Daisuke Igarashi's work a lot, enough that I bought all of his books. It actually kind of sucks that my favorite (Witches) is the only one which is NOT in A5 size... Which probably means the Sea Monster's Children will be B6 as well. |

Igarsahis style of drawing is damn unique, for a comic artist. his drawings are usually made only out of scribbles, nothing really complicated, but the effect is awesome, great, impressive. When i saw the color pages for the first time, i thought instantly - "he is an impressionists!" he can sucessfully catch a short momment of the world, life, light and sound (sic! - check all those animals in jungle...) and put it as an picture. the fact that he can make a comic out of such momments is even more impresive. if you add to that fact that those comics have awesome story...he is an awesome artist, clearly. |
