By this point, I'm pretty accustomed to having no one care about my projects, so feel free to not post your feedbacks here if you don't care either way about the abovementioned series.

To cut this off at the knees.. yeah Kotonoha is doing this series as well and there was initially some friction over this but we have resolved our differences and basically one of the agreements was we will both ignore each other's efforts and brook no posts that compare the two versions whether positively or negatively. Any posts of that nature will be deleted.

Additionally, we will be doing some joint projects in the future.

I really liked the chapter, thanks for doing this Exclamation

Theres so many things that I like about this manga. First of all the art is gorgeous, both the characters and the background. You know the art is special when you feel the B&W pages are prettier than the color pages.

Renei is really cool. Her many expressions are really nice, and I really like her character. In fact she may be one of my favourite manga female characters period.
Her scenes are all varied and each of them are done so nicely; such as when she's chatting with her family, or being mean to Ryota, or thinking her thoughts and feelings, or her weird actions in the dream world. Great translation for all the above, BTW. Her words always fit her expression and mood perfectly. Her script is always varied yet always natural.

The dream world of the manga is beautiful. It is something like a fantasy adventure world, but the manga manages to keep it as a 'dream' world, not a fantasy world. The dream world is beautiful to read, with lots of cute ideas and gorgeous images. But what's amazing is Renei's actions in her dreams.

Again, thanks for doing this!

You could always post this piece of information at the "Your Favorite MS Chick" thread.

"A Patch of Dreams" is considered to be "Part 3" of Coo's World, while the two volumes that we were working on is Parts 1 and 2. I don't know if we released enough of this to make it apparent, but if you read the summary closely, there are some significant differences from the setup for Coo's World (as well as plenty of similarities). At any rate, it's not the same manga.

Chapter 4 (end of first volume) has been translated! It's just waiting for editing.

Nice. What I've read so far is solid though nothing overly impressive aside from the art, but I've heard some great things about the sequel Ponent Mon released last year. Hopefully I'll finally get around to buying it soon, and Coo's World is still a good read, so looking forward to it getting back on track.

I just now downloaded the fourth chapter. I'm so glad to see that it hadn't been abondoned! It's my very favorite of MangaScreener's projects. Very Oz- or Wonderland-esque, which I love.

Very patiently awaiting future releases. Thanks for your hard work!

Many thanks for the scanlations of volume 1; I'm looking forward to reading volume 2. Has there been any recent progress on this?

The dream world in Coo's World is satisfyingly bizarre and surprising, but what really excites me about this manga is the interplay of real world and dream world elements. It starts out with a psychological conflict being explored through dreams, but then the boundary lines between the real world and the dream world start to become fluid. There are other manga and anime which do this-- notably Kon Satoshi's "Paranoia Agent" and "Paprika"-- but I think Coo's World does it unusually well. Also, the art is wonderful.

Progress-wise, I haven't seen Summer (the translator) around for months... so don't hold your breath until he pops up again.
