Should the Simpsons keep going?

I love the Simpsons and they are always making new and better ideas for their show. But as most people are thinking is that the simpsons are getting old and sometimes repetative ex: Sideshow Bob trying to kill Bart and others. I myself think that the simpsons should stay on but i want to know the opinons of others as well. So take the the poll and reply to what you think.

i agree, its getting old. dont get me wrong, i like it, but it doesnt have the flare that it used to have.

It needs to be put out to pasture, too many episodes, too few ideas. Of course, the only downside is that Fox will spend about five years putting in crappy sitcoms until they finally find a good show for the slot. Look forward to disasters like That 90's Show (you know they're itching to do it, Fox loves failure), a Malcolm in the Middle spin-off show (Dewey at the End?), and The Gallagher Hour with co-host Carrot Top.

perhaps fox would just give up and ask Matt to make something else like when he made Futurama.

Like Fox would do something that intelligent, and besides, Futurama bombed big. Fox had to keep it on for three seasons because of the fans, not because of the ratings.

stupid fox, maybe they'll play more of that true reality stuff. like "when animals attack" or...or.....you know. or maybe more shows like fast lane will be made, with all those badass cars.... i can only hope. sadly enough, you are right abrasive, fox will try deperately to find a replacement. will probably make more of the same old reality shows or air shows with plots that put you to sleep. oh well.

i think they should just stop the simpsons...leave them with a good name and dont let the die with a bad...stupid fox...stop after the 300 esp..it's getting too bad...and there's too many reality tv shows today...

thats right fox is making another series about the "good ol days". It's pretty much a "that 50's show", you were only off by 40 years Abrasive, nice.

i love the simpsons. my daily ritual :
5.00pm knock off from work
5.20 get home bathe eat
6.00 veg out on couch watching simpsons.
yeah you know. vegging on the couch eating junk food going "haha that homer cracks me up" . yup this is how i unwind after work.
