I hate stupid people. Unfortunatly, about 75% of people are stupid beyond me being able to have an intelligent conversation with. These people piss me off so much, and I can tell if someone is stupid just by the way they walk, act, dress, and who they hang out with. Is this the same for anyone else? I have seen that there are at least 1 in any cliche (am I spelling this right?) except, I have yet to meet a stupid goth. |

Trust me, dumb goths exist. Perhaps there is a high concentration of stupid people in the US. What do you think? I'm not sure that the people in Europe get so worked up about everything. |

Well, at the moment there are only rumors of a draft bill. One hopes it won't come to that. Hell, we aren't even technically at war yet, although it does seem like a foregone conclusion now. I won't get drafted, 'cause I'm a woman, but I worry about my boyfriend, and my brother, and all my other male friends.
My cousin, who was in the Marines, is now in Kuwait. His year was up, but they told him he couldn't finish his last two quarters at Berkeley, and kept him in San Diego for a few months until they shipped out. It's hard for me to decide what to feel about that. On the one hand, he joined the Marines, so he (and we) should have been ready for this kind of situation. On the other hand, this is something that I believe shouldn't be going on in the first place.
Important issues aren't always black and white, right and wrong, like so many people like to make them. They are always more complicated than that. |
