i didnt notice a thread up about thism so i thought id start one....
for starters, those who dont know;
Harold Sakuishi, popular artist and author of Beck, was involved in a freak auto accident at 4:53 PM, Thursday, March 27th, and passed away shortly thereafter in the hospital.
Im not gonna rabble on about how sad it is that Beck will remain incomplete or anything tho, cause i find that selfish and it completely forgets the point. Instead, i just wanna make this an appreciation thread to a very talented man.
Thanks for sharing your gift with us, Harold. You wont be forgotten.

Yes I was wondering about an April fool myself.
I am afraid both ways don't look too good:
-It is an April fool: sick joke as gazman_inu says
-It is not: very bad timing to announce it on a first of April
I'll delay the mourning till tomorrow then. |

The passing of Harold was a very suprising one. Beck somehow closely related to my years in high skool, i shall miss him.

I truly hope that you're right, but if it's a joke it's seriously not funny. I'm not at all fluent in japanese -- can anyone else confirm or disprove this news? |

Im seeing a lot of April Fools jokes around the web right now. Ones talking about Government arrests and seizings and stuff..... this may actually be mangascreener's joke.... But if it is, it is a horrible thing to joke about. I trully hope he is ok, but if he has passed, nobody better be all "aww damn, now we cant see the ending to Beck.". That would be the most insensitve and selfish act commitable. |

Settle down...it could be an April Fool jokes.
The thing is...if she passed away on the 27th last month, why did you put it yesterday? Like on the 1st April? People can be very curious about this, you know? |
