Well, the first issue is finally here, after six months of blood, sweat, and tears... Well, okay, no one really bled or sweated, and I only cried once, but that doesn't change the fact that it's here! So... What'd you think? Did you like it? Did you hate it? Do you want to write for it? Did it leap out of the screen and rob you? Come on, I need to know these things! |

I liked it. Then again, I've been gone from here for about 5 weeks so I don't know what I'm feeling right now. My ISP ran out of business...
Stupid friend.. won't complete one simple assignment for me.. oh, sorry. Now I'm just talking about something that you all have no interest in. |

Loved it. Although I have to admit that I'm one of those people that just don't "get" Blame! |

One thing... well two
work harder on at least leveling the pictures you use ~_~
and make sure to put information at the bottom of article like:
I'll by Hiroyuki Asada
length: 12 volumes (04.2003) ongoing
serialized in: Monthly Shonen Jump (Shueisha)
and anything else you can think of
even if you said it in the review already, just recap at the end ~_~ |

We'll try, but we're really understaffed (it's in bold, so you know how understaffed we are), maybe if we had more people sign up for the magazine (hint, hint) we could afford to spend time on such luxuries... Okay, it's not a luxury, and it's something we should be doing, so we'll work on it, but that doesn't change the fact that we need people to sign up for the magazine. |

wouldn't it also be helpful to provide links in the articles?
I mean you read the Hikago article or something and think "WOW! I want to read it right now!" but you have no idea how to get your hands on it. So wouldn't it be useful to have a link to say Toriyama's World?
And if MS ever starts doing web releases again or *cough* bittorrent *cough* then wouldn't it be better to provide links to the projects themselves in the news articles? :D |

spaceman, it would be nice, but our code puts mangascreener.com in front of everything >_< so we can't link outside of the page that i'm aware of (something you might know about since you wrote the code)
plus links in articles are kind of um... hesitant, because what if the link changes, then we'd have to go and update the articles every once and a while, kind of a hassle |

if you put <a href="http://whateverwebsite.com/thisdir/page.html"> then it'll go to http://whateverwebsite.com/thisdir/page.html. If you put <a href="page.html"> it'll go to http://www.mangascreener.com/page.html. so as long as you put the whole html address in it will work. If you leave out the "http://website.com" part it'll assume you're linking a page within mangascreener.com.
I changed the latest news post to what i meant. I'm not sure if you want it like that though. I understand about the Links in articles thing. Path of least work is my philosophy too. Hehe. |

| that didn't work for me, sporky. as you can see in the latest update, i had to leave those links in text because typing <a href="http://www.badcode.net/20thcb/"> would give me http://www.mangascreener.com/"http://www.badcode.net/20thcb/" |
That's bizarre. I just fixed it and it worked for me. Oh well, at worst I can change them for you later. Heh. :D (that is unless you guys prefer it without the links). |
