Like scans, tanks or what?
We just released a teaser of the first chapter in the channel (the first 11 pages) and i think the people who saw it REALLY enjoyed it!
Although if you want to buy it, your best bet is here: http://www.japan-manga.jp/index.jsp
They have plenty of cheap rare manga! |

Nearest Chinatown is 7 hours away .... eBay doesn't have decent copies of it (most are 3rd or 4th generation tapes from rental shops) ...
PS:
The DVDs on eBay are HKDVDs ....
That is all that I am adding to this post ... |

Those Who Hunt Elves DVDs are pretty easy to find online. Luckily they're also cheap! The entire first series can be bought on two DVDs (yes, officially done by ADV).
I'm pretty sure any online DVD store should have the two volumes in stock. |

$54 plus shipping is not cheap for the ADV version, which is also in low quality ...... they only have 2 channel output .... "decent" copies have at least 5.1 output .... |

Well, I think an entire season for $54 is pretty good. I mean, you can compare it to SoulTaker or most other 13-eps series and they'll cost you much more.
Then again, SoulTaker was anamorphic and really high quality, so.... ^^; |

Ugh, American DVDs... well think of it this way, over in Japan,
A DVD containing one really high quality OVA ep can cost up to more than 70 dollars per dvd... A two ep dvd would be like 60 dollars. That may be normal over there but when you get them imported they end up costing 70 dollars here so... I'd rather buy american dvds now. |

Exactly. My Eva Box set cost me ~$900. I'm sure I can buy the whole thing for much less here. Most normal consumers don't have access to 5.1 Surround and such. So it isn't as much of a concern. There can also be reasons ADV could not do 5.1 on the DVDs. Pioneer\Bandai have constant access to their own original source. ADV is more than likely not that lucky. You wanna see bad DVD quality? Go find the original A-Ko DVD or better yet, wait for DNA^2 DVDs. Those oughta be craptacular. Seeing as the original masters are gone like disco |
