the actors they chose look pretty similar to their characters... i wish they had some more of them though, like yukari and nyamo and the gaping-mouth teacher... |

You realize if it were true, it'd be the most popular show on tv (i meen look at those girls), but sadly, it'd be quite impossible, since azumanga doesn't have any story that you could lengthen to be a 1 hour long weekly drama -_- come on guys, show some intellect. |

Yeah, I was afraid of that. But hey, I didn't think they'd have enough story to string it into an anime. Still though, it would've been awesome for a few episodes. ): Tomo is soooooo dead on. The rest are very good also. Man, I was really looking forward to it too. |

You realize those are all pretty famous idols (some with carriers on the downside... so you can expect to see them without cloths on in the next few years) so currently the price for having them all in one show together would be enormous ~_~ |

The girl that plays Chiyo is an idol or just an actress? If she's an idol then, I'm very disturbed though not suprised. :D I mostly wanted to see a live-action version of Osaka-san though. ):
I actually don't follow the Japanese Idol scene so I didn't recognize a single one of them. They were all cute tho. They really should do a one-shot. It'd be neat. |

Well the thing is you can tell that each picture is taken by a different photographer just by looking at them, that was the first dead giveaway. Secondly if they were gonna do azumanga, wouldn't they be in those school uniforms ~_~ ?!! Plus they look like they're just scanned out of magazines, i meen honestly, how were you fooled. |
