I'm very interested to hear feedback on this one. I didn't really even know what it was until it was ready for release, so it kind of took me aback when I got a chance to read it for the first time. Very funny and sweet, in my opinion. |

havent read it yet, but you maybe should have a one-shot section in the projects page. that'd be convinient. |

It had the same strangeness you'd expect from the author of Kokumin Quiz, but expressed in a different way. Hell, it was sort of touching towards the end. Good choice. |

For the record, Shinkichi Kato only did the art for Kokumin Quiz, so the f*cked up concept in that manga didn't come from him. That and Shoujo Manga are the only works I've read by Kato, so I really can't say which one is the norm for him and which one is the exception. But as much as I like KQ, I think I like Shoujo Manga better (although you really can't compare those two, as they are so different from each other).
I'll take credit for the translation (and I suppose I should give partial credit to Pokute...), but it was Kotonoha that suggested this (I had already read this manga before he mentioned it, but would never have thought of scanlating it), so he's the person to thank. Hell, it was so easy to translate (page after page of zero text!) that any half-competent translator could probably have done it.
Hopefully, we'll be able to do some more random, cool one-shots in the future. |

Hopefully Zero and I will have one ready soon. Assuming I get off my ass and finish translating it. |

Sweet. Although I think I recall Zero saying that he doesn't like short stories... |

This one's actually horrendously long for a one-shot. Like 90 pages. 65 or so of which I've already torn through, so it's another day or two at most before it gets handed over to Zero, |

Just for the record: "Shoujo Manga" has broken the 1000-downloads-barrier (at least according to the bittorrent tracker data) ealier today. I am pretty sure it's the title that attracted all those people. *grin* |

Haha... wow. Shoutout, y'all. I didn't do anything. |

Speaking of that, are you interested in tl "Tsukumo kitsune" by Chayamachi Suguro (contained in the same IKKI issue of "Shoujo manga")?
I'm well awared that it's a "bit" more risqué than SJ, but then, that's why I slam the tag "Kotonoha" to that type of release and not "MS". |

Well I hope they enjoyed it, and didn't see it as a distorted caricature of the genre they like. I doubt that I would find "Fallen In Love At Last" (translation of the title courtesy of Pokute) to be appealing, but I can really identify with the main character because I was like that with all the shonen manga I loved so much as I was growing up. I think we all were. |

I like it loads. It's one of those quirky manga u can't place, it's just depressing with glimmers of hope and a really nice ending |
