Need help identifying a manga...

OK, this is a total long-shot but does anyone have any idea what this might be about?

"SH2 Team: Well, we started Silent Hill more than three years ago, before most of what you're talking about. We draw our influences from all over -- fiction, movies, manga, new and old. There's a manga by Morohashi...the title would translate to "Whirr," that sound, or something like that, that's a particular influence."

The only "Morohashi" I found on a quick google search ("morohashi" + "manga") was Shinji Morohashi, who is an animator with Studio Ghibli and thus not really a guy who would write Silent Hill-inspiring manga.

The closest name I can think of to "Morohashi" is "Morohoshi* Daijirou," a mangaka who worked on a variety of horror/sci-fi/creature-themed manga.
From what I see on Google a lot of foreign sites state his name as "Morohashi" instead of "Morohoshi" so who knows this might be the case. His work would seem to make sense as a Silent Hill influence, what with the odd creatures and whatnot. I don't immediately see a title of his that would translate to "whirr" but whatever, I've gotten this far now the rest is up to you or somebody else who feels like spending more time looking this up.

*I see him listed as "Moroboshi" in some sites, but "Morohoshi" seems to come up more frequently and plus that's what Hatena Diary and Wikipedia use.
