Can someone explain this to me please? I was surfing in the mangascreener's channel the other day just like always. I didn't do any spamming and got kicked by Icarium for too many @find/!list? I know Ban only last 2 hrs or something, but its been days I still Banned? I really need some BECK stuff i m dying here... someone help please.  |

The only bans that last for 2 hours are the automatic ones from @find'ing a licensed series. If you are banned by an op for another reason the ban is permanent until removed by an op.

Actually, our bot has not returned since we switched networks, so technically there are no 2 hour bans... they just last until someone remembers to reset the bans. |

yeah.. I did an @find like a week ago and got banned but until now have not been able to get back to the channel.. who do i have to ask permission to get back on your good graces? Please help!!!! Im getting manga withdrawal here and the new H2 is out too! |

Bleh, wasn't aware the 2 hour thing was gone or I wouldn't have tried to test if things were different (which curiously kinda looked that way before Icarium took the time to finish his thought). The wait doesn't matter too much on the file side of things, but it would be convenient to hang out in channel.

I was also banned ;-/ .
For want i don't remmember, most likely cause i was !list individual fservers too many times since its my usually behavior on irc. In any case can you remove me from the ban list? |

In case you didn't know, we ban people (for the most part) according to their hostmask: giving us your nick isn't really going to help unless we banned you according to your nick. And that often means that we don't wish to ever see you or anybody with a name holding a resemblance to yours any time in the forseeable future. |
