As much as I love Toyoda, I have a feeling that his charm is so singular that everything he does from now on will either be derivative of, or inferior to, Love Roma. Like a Kevin Smith/Wes Anderson type of artist.

I'm not sure Detective Conan will ever end...there's already been this "Shinichi regrows adult for one day" once or twice, it's just a periodic appearance, like kaitô kid, men in black,...doesn't really matter anyway.

Well, with the difference that Aoyama actually said it could end fairly soon, not too long ago.

The little ad says he's trying out "new territory" unlike Genshiken or Kujibiki, but based on the art, I'd say he's trying to plumb new depths of shittiness.

If they or he REALLY means 'new territory,' I'll be crossing my fingers for this.

I don't have a anti-moe aesthetic thing going on, so stuff like this doesn't bother me until I read/watch the thing before I pass judgement.

Although I have to admit that moe is something I'm particularly fond of, but I won't put it up on a pedestal...thats for sure.
