Filament is a book of shorts by Urushibara Yuki (Mushishi's mangaka). The first story in the book about the bus stop was released a while back by Kotonoha, and here's the second one (The Labyrinth Cat). Even though it's very short, it packs a lot into the few speech bubbles.
Hopefully we'll do more from this book later. |

I like her style a lot, both visually and plot-wise. (Though sometimes I find it hard to identify with all this nostlagia.)
Nice chase scenes in this one.
I prefer the bus stop story to the cat one, but mostly because it was longer and could build up more character. |

This was a really nice one shot. The cat theme gave me that warm fuzzy 'animal' feeling. Getting lost in the apartment complex gave a rather sad feeling. Then at the end, I got a rather um... 'spooky' feeling
Somehow, it gave me a nice 'mix' of feelings. |

I really liked it - I'm sucker for that abandoned nostalgia stuff though. I'd love to see more of this collection (I'm actually the one who edited the Bus one shot, the result being I'm now back to QC work). |
