Well what can I say... we're caught up! Besides uploading licensed stuff or compiling LQ pluto and bokurano thats pretty much everything there is.

Now 111 volumes of manga is nothing to scoff at... thats a pretty substancial read. So get started, most likely I'll throw a few more up after 10/31 update.

As for the running stats, although no one really seems interested. Believers v.1 is still in the lead with 14 downloads. H2 passed Happy! as the most downloaded series with 27 downloads to 21.

At this very moment there have been 104 volumes downloaded and 111 volumes uploaded. I'm sure this is going to see some positive gains by late tonight.

Looks like Dirk is pimping MS projects once again. Hopefully people will give a shit enough to download these.

Crazieness... I used to live a couple blocks away from where they publish The Comics Journal when I was attending the UW. There's a really good Burrito place near by called Mr. Villa.
I guess I still live pretty close... but I never noticed it was there when I lived near by.

I'm interested. Though probably partly because I'm somewhat pleased to know that something I translated has gotten the most downloads.

There are, of course, the various one-shots, though I'm not sure if you intend to do them or not. But in either case, I think what you're doing is great.

Maybe they just want to read the start and the end...

Didn't you guys have a backup HTTP link for everything except 4? Maybe that's it.
Bit shocked about Believers kicking everything else's collective ass though. Maybe all those recommendations I gave to people on other threads actually worked (doubt it).

Still no downloads... whats wrong?!

Stopper Busujima v.1-2 (this is a baseball manga by the mangaka of Beck, great stuff!)
H2 v.22 (more baseball manga, I hope this isn't a trend)
Kimi No Kakera v.1-2 (joint project with Snoopy Cool, pretty art... come on guys)
My Name is Zushio v.2 (the most hilarious manga ever... no appreciation)
Natsunokumo v.1 (get into the game!)
Ryuguden v.1-2 (no one seems to want penis trains)
Ryuuroden v.4-5 (people stopped downloading just when the scan quality increased)
Under the Dapple Shade v.2-3 (same mangaka as City Hunter... good art.)
Kakan No Madonna v.5 (shoujo shoujo shoujo...)
Katteni Kaizo v.1 (delicious comedy manga... same mangaka as Southland Hockey Team)

Be the first to download them now!

A bit surprised about Ryuguden, since that's one of our more cutting-edge titles. I guess it's because it wasn't one of the titles that were plugged in that scanlation article.

Either that, or penis trains aren't appealing enough for some people.

Just a suggestion maybe you could link the title of the series with the summaries

You could also advertise on some boards? In France there is a lot of interest in scanlation however the following series are licensed and running :
A SPIRIT OF THE SUN by Kaiji Kawaguchi
CAT'S EYE by Hojo Tsukasa
H2 by Mitsuru Adachi
HOMUNCULUS by Hideo Yamamoto
I'LL by Hiroyuki Asada
KING OF THORNS by Yuuji Iwahara

Ryuguden is awesome, period. (thanks again Wada, for introducing me to it)

Tho I dont think it's very accessible... ?

I'm really not sure if I should go around to other boards to advertise... but that doesn't stop any of you! Plus I'm not active on any other boards, so it would be kind of snobby to put this as my first post.

Summer: My guess is that the people who know about ryuguden have already downloaded it... but I'm sure that all those 30 people who downloaded Believers would download and enjoy Ryuguden too, we just need to get the word out. Oh, and National Quiz is quickly catching up to Believers.

BBQ: Is anything here at MS really accessable? I mean, you're favorite manga is Ciguatera.

Since I'm interested in numbers here we go again. Total downloads: 392.

Top 10:
1. Believers v.1 (30)
2. Happy v.1 (16)
3. Believers v.2 (14)
4. National Quiz v.4 (13)
5. Japan Tengu Party Illustrated v.1 (12)
6. National Quiz v.1 (12)
7. National Quiz v.3 (11)
8. Confession (10)
9. National Quiz v.2 (10)
10. {four way tie} Witches v.1 (8), A Spirit of the Sun v.1 (8), Hanaotoko v.1 (8) Happy v.2 (8)

Still no downloads:
Kimi No Kakera v.2
Natsunokumo v.1
Noramimi v.1
Ryuuroden v.4-5
Under The Dapple Shade v.2-3
Kakan No Madonna v.5
