My favorite lines of c01 were: "Thank you sir, you are a gentleman and a scholar. Your kind deeds will not be forgotten."
DRY. I have no idea how litteral a translation something like that can be, but it floored me.
and I cherish special feelings for the panda-riding panel. |

Amazingly I'm still suprised by just how oddly fucked up Furuya's manga can be (such great facial expressions). So far its quite fun; hopefully we'll see more "Animal Quiz Time" in the future. |

Oh man was the second chapter golden. Great translation too (Prossin' the tutes!!!) For some reason Furuya reminds me of American comicbook writer Dan Clowes, especially with the facial expressions and the progression of their manga's themes over the span of their career. |

Man, this manga is probably the most hilarious thing I've ever read. Actually Furuya Minoru is by far my fav mangaka out there... Keep up the good job, guys! |

There's something i want to ask, i really don''t get what Suguo says on chapter 27 when he say "This Problem is no different than asking wether or not Kaneshiro Takeshi resembles eight years". What does that mean? and who is Kaneshiro Takeshi?
@macabeo Yeah I'm agree with you, Furuya Minoru is my favourite mangaka too. I really loves his jokes. Boku to Issho really makes me laugh, i read it over & over and the jokes still doesn't get old. Sometimes i laugh by myself when i remember Suguo & Itokin scene. |

"Eight years" is the ronin guy living next to the Yoshida barber. Remember him from volume 2? The guy they also call Hachiro. They call him that because he's been a ronin for 8 years in a row now.
And Takeshi Kaneshiro is a half Japanese/Chinese actor. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Takeshi_Kaneshiro |
