it's really impossible to chosse a favourite! i really couldnt compare hanao to zushio, or cat's eye with hiro.
but currently though; my favourite character is thorkell from vinland saga!
initially during the first battle scene at london bridge, i wasnt too fond of him. his weird hairstyle and proportions just didnt give me the impression of a well designed or even well drawn character. i initially thought of him as a cut and paste character gone wrong; and irrelevant to the overall story at the time.
but now i realize the artist's genius; i feel really bad for ever doubting him! thorkell is an amazing character. imagine pitting 500 men against 10,000. to have that kind of strength and confidence, he must have had godlike power. just thinking of his band pursuing the main force, it really gives me chills.
what makes it even more amazing, there is every chance that they really well could destroy the viking main force. the latest chapters simply blew me away.
but of course, my favourite character from MS would be operator, from believers. i hope one day i could go to the land of happiness, as well. |

a lot of the projects are a lot more about story than the individual characters (ala H2). I like flawed characters. |
