ive only recently discovered ghibli. better late than never.
fav anime: grave of the fireflies, followed by my neighbor totoro.
ive got "crimson pig" and "whisper of the heart" which i havent watched yet so when i watch those maybe ill be changing my favourites.
my favourite manga:
video girl ai, mr fredwards duck. feng yun, vagabond.

i rediscovered the akira manga, and it is now my favorite. OMG that is so much cooler than the anime, it's amazing! they should make like an 8 hour miniseries exactly like the manga! that would be so cooooool. |

Speaking of Ghibli, I've heard that they're doing Iou Kuroda's Nasu. Like I said before, I rarely watch anime (no Izumi, I haven't forgotten about the one you recommended; I'll watch it eventually, I promise!), and I definitely don't watch them at movie theaters, but I just might make an exception with this one. |
