I usually just buy manga, but the really rare gems, I get them here.

Well, I've been lurking here for a while, and I finally decided to register and post a bit. I first found this site a while ago when I was looking for scans of Pluto (before, I'd only read manga by Osamu Tezuka and some mainstream series, so I have you guys to thank for introducing me to great series and seinen in general). Thanks for the great work, mangascreener. The quality of the releases is amazing, and I haven't read a series you've scanned that I haven't liked. It's pretty weird, though. When I find a series that somebody else has scanned that I like, I usually look for other works by the same author, and I often find one of your projects. Oh, and your blog is great, Stephen (as are your translations).

Sorry for the long intro. Um...about me...well, I'm a student, I speak English, Farsi, and some French. I'm planning to learn Japanese (I know a pathetic amount right now), but until then, I'll have to rely on translations. I really wish I could help out, but I have no experience and I'm not very good at editing.

Coaxial here, a much confused traveller and general trove of useless trivia. I work in the film and television industry, primarily in Europe and South-East Asia, and am currently residing in Singapore while missing my embarassingly large collection of French manga.

Male, 26, half Swedish and half Mexican (though I've never lived in either, despite all my vacations spent there), having grown up in such disparate countries as Honduras, Guatemala, Pakistan, Switzerland, France & and UK to name a few. First studied archaeology, then film, then worked for various NGO's and the UN before finding myself on the set of a Filipino film, and now editing TV series and films in sunny Singapore where I'm being worked to death, being as how Singapore does not believe in unions, employee rights, welfare, or decent working hours... sounds almost like the States.

And love MangaScreener since back in the old days of Love Hina and Beck.
