Hi ^_^
Hopefull i didn't choose the wrong section, but this one it seemed the best.
Anyway, I had started translating Nana for my translation site, I started it becasue I love it and because Aiazawa is very popular here where I live (italy) but she seemed not so popular around the world (I got to read pretty much all of her works).
I didn't know you guys were translating it too. For I think it's a little useless to tranlate the same manga, I was wondering if I could join the project. That'd mean for me to be able to upload on my site the chapter you had already translated and for you to have another person who owns the manga, who can help you and make the scanlation go faster.
Let me know what you think of it ^_^
thanks anyway |

Hello,
guess I found it logical to continue in this thread. I am a part of a scantlation/fansub group formed in Croatia, my country, that has a specific goal of spreading manga to a female audience (here it's really almost unknown), and we wanted to ask Mangascreener for a permission to use your scans of Nana for translation to Croatian language. Of course, we promise to point out and give all due credit to all the staff that's been working on Nana on Mangascreener. I know I am asking for a lot, but we hope with Nana to help girls and women here to start loving manga like we do. I am sorry for asking you like this over the Forum, I tried to find someone to talk to a few times on your IRC channel, but without succes. I hope to get an answer here and thank you ! |

Mmm Nana's project is kinda complicated because it's 3-group joint project so you're gonna have to ask many different people for permission... your best bet is to talk to m0nk on IRC. I'm himiko on the translation team and I'm all fine with you using my translations, I'm not sure about the other translators or the scanner, you have to ask them yourself. |

Thank you for your answer. Ok, so I'll try and catch m0nk on IRC. |

Yes I've been wondering about that too...why is it that whenever I try to look up Ai Yazawa I get a bunch of Italian fansites? Perhaps her fashion works are probably well accepted and very stylish for Italian's tastes. Yes I've also noticed the trend that several years ago France would get the animes before U.S. why is that? Hmm... |
