2002.06.01-12:40 :: Well here’s the 2nd big update before I leave and everything changes. I don’t have much to say; I think I’ve said everything possible for me to say… The next weeks will show a great change of how things are done around here at MS, as well as a new list of active projects, new layout etc. I’m really excited even though I’m not actually gonna be part of it. Anyways, your manga selections for today are:
Katteni Kaizo v01v08 (The Kaizo gang goes for a swim in the school pool, antics ensue!)
One Piece v17c146-v19c168 (More than two full volumes of One Piece… and the quality gets a lot better than the last update =P)
Shaman King v06c53-v08c65 (More than a volume of Shaman King, boooya!)

2002.05.25-17:30 :: If you hadn't all heard, Mangascreener as you all know it is shutting down. However i think there's been a big misunderstanding, the only person really leaving is me, Izumi, the founder. The rest of the staff is merging with a group called Band of the Hawks and will continue bringing you new chapters of One Piece, Shaman King, Beck, Monster, Rave etc. along with the manga the Hawks have been doing such as Berserk, Hana Yori Dango, and such. So what does this all meen to you? Well it meens that the format is going to change, since most of you prefer HQ/Zip, thats how distro will be done after i leave, and the distro will be similar to that of MangaProject, new chapters on the webpage, old chapters available in an irc channel. However since there are still a lot of chapters left over in the old 460 width LQ format that i hadn't posted before deciding to shut down, i planned a couple of large updates, the first of which is today. I know that on the forums i promised 4 volumes of One Piece today, but i decided i would give you 3 this saturday, and the rest next Saturday with the Shaman King update. So without further delay, your belated manga selections are!
Beck v01c03 (Yukio gets himself in a load of trouble, then gets to spend some quality time with Ryusuke's sister, i feel so bad for him!)
Katteni Kaizo v01c07 (An alien virus comes to earth and Kaizo is the only person between it and world domination!)
One Piece v13c117-v16c145 (Over 3 volumes of new One Piece, enjoy, and sorry about the cruddy scan quality!)
