H2
Mangaka: Mitsuru Adachi
Serialized in: Shonen Sunday [Shogakukan]
Length: 34 volumes
Project Status: Active
Status in Japan: Finished
Packaged Bittorrents: Volumes 1-29 - Volume 30
Last Update: 2008-07-06 19:17:35

While Touch will certainly go down in history as Mitsuru Adachi's penultimate classic, there are a certain number of people who consider his later (and longest) work H2 to be superior. While it doesn't have the tragic twist that made Touch so moving, Adachi's skill and wit have sharpened considerably since the early 80s. H2 has the benefit of excellent characters, some of Adachi's best-defined, and a fine-honed edge of unpredictability that will always keep you guessing.

Nutshell Summary: H2 follows the lives of two baseball players and their love interests (all with the initial H) through their three years of high school. Will Hiro and Hideo manage to keep their friendship even through competition on the baseball diamond?
