Story. 20th Century Boys is a story with many parts. It begins in the late 1990's, with a man named Kenji and his old friends, who begin to notice odd occurances happening around them that are connected to their childhood memories. These bizarre, frightening events are being orchestrated by a mysterious man known as "Friend", who seems to be bent on destroying the world with his fanatic cult. The story spans several decades and features much suspense and cliffhanging. It will appeal very heavily to fans of Naoki Urasawa's other megahit, Monster. It began serialization in the weekly magazine Big Comic Spirits in 1999 and ended in 2007, with 22 volumes in the series 20th Century Boys and 2 final books as 21st Century Boys. Viz has licensed 20th Century Boys for English publication! I'm still keeping these scripts here, but don't miss the chance to own this epic in any language! The language in 20th Century Boys can be coarse at times, but nothing too bad.
