Inside Flap: This was a tough one. I had to do some redrawing for this volume, but it wasn't content I was redrawing, but rather fixing up the original lines and tones and such, which made it a VERY hard volume to put together. It really drove home the point of doing what you should, WHEN you should, so in a way, I like to think of this book as a special little gem among the others.
Main Cast
Kitano Seiichiro - A boy with the face of a demon, but the heart of an angel. With this appearance, he became the guardian of Hekikuu High School. Despite a number of unfortunate misunderstandings, he is currently enjoying his school life very much.
Koiso Ryoko - A beautiful female Kobudo martial artist learning the Koiso school of martial arts directly from her father. She sees through Kitano-kun's appearance and finds he has a pure, angelic heart. She is the only person to understand who he really is.
Shirataki Ikuno - Enters Hekikuu High School with her guidance counselor father, in order to defeat Kitano-kun. She boasted of being invincible, but after losing a fierce match with Ryoko, she begins to open her heart.
Takehisa Yuji - A powerful fighter who has been known for his strength since middle school. Challenged Kitano-kun after the end of his suspension period and lost. Since then, he has assumed the role of his little brother, pledging utmost loyalty.
Kuroda Seikichi - Former guardian of Hekikuu. Now calls himself "No. 2." Always seen with his two younger lackeys. He's all bluff, and has nothing to back up his mouth. Holds a tragically one-sided love for Ryoko.
Ikuko - Ryoko's friend and classmate. Her name has only just appeared in this volume, but I'd bet some of you know her last name already.
