Story. Boku to Issho (Together With Me) is one of Minoru Furuya's mid-career works, and unlike his later Ciguatera, which I have also translated, it retains a heavy mix of Furuya's signature extreme humor and pathetic characters. Brothers Suguo and Ikuo have just suffered the death of their mother, and their despicable father-in-law kicks them out on the street. When they join forces with fellow orphan Itokin, it results in possibly the silliest and most depressing comedy ever about homeless urchins. Boku to Issho ran in Young Magazine in 1997 and 1998, to 4 total volumes.
