The Story Until Now: Seishu Academy High second-year student and pitcher of the baseball team Koh Kitamura is the only son of the Kitamura Sporting Goods Store. He's longtime friends with the Tsukishima sisters, but their second daughter, Wakaba, drowned in the summer of fifth grade.
Wakaba left a dream with Koh, however; a dream of a packed Koshien.
While Wakaba's younger sister Aoba watches over that dream, Koh's very first summer Koshien regional tournament begins.
Through Koh's pitching and Yuhei Azuma's slugging, Seishu reaches the third round, where they clash with the powerhouse, Ryuoh Academy. The game is 1-0, with Seishu leading...!
