Romance Dawn - Fin

* Pirate manga.  The first time I tried to draw pirate manga was when I was in 7th grade, and since I didn't know anything about pens or
  inking or anything, I just drew in pencil in my school notebooks.  I was playing soccer back then, and because I was moved by the fun of
  being part of a "team" I had always enjoyed the pirate genre.  However.  My image of a "Pirate Adventure" was too large, and I realized
  that just one notebook would hold it all.  A one-shot pirate manga would be impossible.  So I thought to myself.  "I'll save my pirate
  story for a serial in Jump."  (<- my decision)

* So this was a manga I drew with the enthusiasm of doing a serial.  Actually, I drew another story with the same title, "Romance Dawn",
  but I couldn't reproduce it here because of space considerations.  The reason why I cut the first one was because it was too much of a 
  prototype for One Piece.  Basically, the serial version of One Piece has many pages identical to the first Romance Dawn, so I changed 
  the flavor a little bit and had this one printed instead.  When the time comes, I think I will print "The Other Romance Dawn" in 
  something related to One Piece.

* By the way, when I was given the opportunity to do these two pirate one-shots, I quit my job as assistant for Watsuki Nobuhiro-sensei's
  "Rurouni Kenshin" and promptly (got stuck)...  set off on my journey to start a serial manga.
