Story. H2 is the longest of Mitsuru Adachi's series. It chronicles the exploits of a quartet of H's: Hiro, Hideo, Hikari and Haruka. The sport of focus in this title is baseball (Adachi's favorite) and it's probably the most in-depth of his baseball series in terms of actual knowledge and depiction of the sport, which makes it fun for baseball fans like myself. It's also got the benefit of some of Adachi's most mature and complex characters, and one doozy of a romantic tangle. Like all things Adachi, it's got sports, romance, youth, and humor. Serialized in Shonen Sunday from 1992 to 1999, it ran for a total of 34 volumes. There is also a 17-volume "wide" edition, of which each book consists of two of the regular edition. It should be pretty easy to follow along these scripts with that version, then. Most of the language in H2 is standard stuff. I began translating in November 2001, and after a long hiatus, picked it up again and finally finished in July 2005.
