The story thus far: Senkawa High School first years Kunimi Hiro and Noda Atsushi, a golden pitcher-catcher battery in middle school, have joined the school's Baseball Lover's Club. Having quit baseball because of injuries they sustained, they purposefully went to Senkawa because it had no baseball team, but when they discover that their diagnoses were incorrect, they want to play again. They are now trying to get their club ratified as the school team. However, a principal who hates high school baseball has severely impeded their progress. Offhand, their middle school classmate Tachibana Hideo has gone on to Meiwa Daiichi High School, where he is the cleanup slugger, carrying their hopes for the Koshien. The possibilities ahead are endless!!
