The story thus far: Kunimi Hiro and Noda Atsushi, a golden pitcher-catcher battery in middle school, are now playing baseball once again after a temporary reprieve. They are now in tenth grade at Senkawa High School, and members of the Baseball Lover's Club. They want to have the club ratified as the official school team, but their high-school-baseball-hating principal will not give in to their requests. However, the principal makes a concession and agrees to make them official if they can beat the runner-up of the regional high school baseball tournament. If they lose, the baseball club has to break up. The problem is, the runner-up team is the famous Meiwa Daiichi, with Kunimi and Noda's friend and former teammate, the slugger Tachibana Hideo. What will happen?!
