The story thus far: Baseball buddies Kunimi Hiro and Noda Atsushi enter the baseball team-less Senkawa High School, and after a fierce effort, succeed in establishing an official school team. The team slowly increases its skills, and Hiro enters his second year of school. Finally, the long-awaited summer preliminary tournament is about to begin. The Senkawa High School team achieves its first official win in the first round of the tournament, beating the opponent 11-0 in a game called off after five innings. On the other hand, Hiro's friend Tachibana Hideo, star member of the Meiwa Daiichi team, is currently winning his own preliminary games in a different tournament block. Senkawa is just about to play a formidable opponent in their second round game. Good thing Hiro is in prime condition!!
