The story thus far: Senkawa High School second-year students and baseball team members Kunimi Hiro and Noda Atsushi have formed an incredible duo since middle school. With these two powerhouses, Senkawa's baseball team works its way into the semifinals of the summer Koshien's North Tokyo Regional Preliminary Tournament, in its first year of existence. But their semifinal opponents are Eikyo Academy, with an unpleasant coach and an unpleasant pitcher. Eikyo is a seeded school, the champions of the National Tournament earlier this spring. It's now the bottom of the 7th, with Hiro pitching a 4-1 gem against the mighty Eikyo lineup. Fight on, Hiro, under the blazing sun!!
