The story thus far: Senkawa High School had no official baseball team until middle school stars Kunimi Hiro and Noda Atsushi joined up. After getting a team established, they set their sights on the Koshien, to show up all those big-name schools. And in their second year of school, Hiro and friends appear in the summer Koshien as representatives of North Tokyo, where they want to win the championship... or at least pass the first round. Hiro's pitching wins the game, and the team is in high spirits. Now Hiro's goal is to reach the fated showdown with Tachibana Hideo in the third round. To do that, he'll need to win the second round game first!!
