The story thus far: Senkawa High School second-year baseball players Kunimi Hiro and Noda Atsushi have been a golden battery since their middle school days. Their dream is to play in the Koshien. And this summer, their dream came true and Senkawa made its first Koshien appearance, representing North Tokyo. On the other hand, their best friend Tachibana Hideo and his team for Meiwa Daiichi High are also in the Koshien for South Tokyo. The two schools would have met in the third round... if all went well. The dream match-up is lost when Hiro injures his foot and loses the second round. Meiwa Ichi goes on to win the tournament. Only a few days left for our fun summer vacation!!
