The story thus far: With the help of their ace Kunimi Hiro, Senkawa High School wins the Spring Invitational Baseball Tournament. With a new school year and new team members, Hiro and friends head to the summer Koshien. But one day shortly after becoming a senior, Hiro's friend Amamiya Hikari's mother dies. With the loss of a love one, not only are Hiro and Hikari heartbroken, but Hikari's boyfriend Tachibana Hideo is too. As Hiro shakenly wonders who is most important to him... Hiro's Senkawa wins the North Tokyo tournament, and Hideo's Meiwa Ichi wins in South Tokyo. Now the final summer is about to begin!!
