The legend has begun!! Luffy and friends climb a mountain(?) and finally reach the "Grand Line." But what should they see, but a giant whale that swallows them, down into his stomach... That's where the trouble begins. Two mysterious people sneak themselves into the whale's stomach so they can kill it! Luffy easily captures the two, and asks the whale's resident(?) Crocus why the whale is waiting at this spot. Once everything is explained, Luffy leaps into battle with the whale to give it a new sense of purpose. Then he promises to come back once more. Without a clear destination, Luffy and company decide to sail to Whiskey Peak, the home town of the two mysterious people they captured. When they arrive, their hearty welcoming party ends with them all passed out cold. But as the night advances, things look fishy... Yes, this is actually a lair of bounty hunters--part of the criminal syndicate called Baroque Works!! Having discovered this truth, Zoro wades into a bloody battle single-handed...
