Plunging into the Grand Line, Luffy and company's next target is a "Sky Island" floating in the air!! With the help of Jaya resident Cricket, they safely arrive at their destination. But the moment they get to "Skypiea", the Land of God, they are branded illegal immigrants, and forced to undergo the judgment of God! Nami and some others are even abducted, to serve as sacrifices.
Luffy, leading the rest of the band, fights the Skypiean priests in heated conflicts!! On the other hand, when Nami's group begins a search of the surrounding area, they discover an astonishing truth!! The only piece of land in Skypiea, "Upperyard", was once a part of Jaya, down on the Earth's surface!!! Now that they are certain that there is gold hidden in the area, a treasure hunt is begun. But the battle between God Ener, the ruler of Skypiea, and the Shandians, demanding their homeland back, draws the Straw-Hat crew in, starting a three-sided fight for survival!!
