Story. Pluto is a brand new series by my favorite author, Naoki Urasawa. But this manga is something new for him. It's not set in a world created by Urasawa, but instead is based upon Osamu Tezuka's classic, Tetsuwan Atom (Astro Boy). The artwork is pure Urasawa, while some characters retain the designs that Tezuka created. It's very hard to say how the story will play out, but right now it seems to most resemble a futuristic Monster with lots of robots. It's only running once a month in Big Comic Original, and there are 6 volumes currently published. Each volume comes in two editions: a normal size, and full magazine B5 size.
Status: Volume 6 is now updated. Monthly chapters will stop.
