Story Thus Far: Asakura Yoh-kun, who transferred into my class from Izumo, is actually a shaman! Shamans are people that link our world to the afterlife, exchanging messages through heart with gods and spirits, and borrowing their powers. Yoh-kun, who came to train, has a 600-year old samurai spirit named Amidamaru, but another shaman, Ren, comes to take him away!! After a heated battle, Yoh-kun defeats Ren, but he's gravely injured...!!
Asakura Yoh - A shaman-in-training, able to link this world to the afterlife.
Amidamaru - A 600-year old samurai spirit. Has a mutual understanding with Yoh-kun.
Oyamada Manta - Yoh's friend. The dictionary tucked under his arm is his trademark.
Tao Ren - A mysterious shaman who challenges Yoh. His spirit is Bason.
Bason - A Chinese warrior spirit whom Ren controls.
Bokutou no Ryu - Continues to search for his own "best place".
