Back Flap: All that chainmail that vikings wear, despite its appearance, weighs about 20
kilograms. The swords and axes are 3-4 kg each, add iron helmets, wooden shields,
shortswords and the like, and their equipment totals over 30 kg. I tried to wear this much
weight on me, and I could barely walk, much less fight. I am so glad I wasn't born in
the age of the vikings. Those guys are monsters.
